We learn that WordPress has increased its popularity by 5% points bringing WP driven websites to an all-time high of 30% of all internet websites. This Is Why Your WordPress Website Is Stuck On Version 4.9.3

While this update was important, it contained a critical error that would cause a website to get stuck on this version and not automatically update to version 4.9.4 Although I do not recommend you set your WordPress website for automatic updates it is important to understand that if you do rely on automatic updates your website will not update again until you manually do so. I anticipate that this will have a negative impact on a number of websites in the coming months as business owners continue to operate, unaware of the change.
