The Barovier & Toso website is an amazing example of beautiful graphic design, combined with an elegant and luxurious mobile-friendly layout. They opted to move away from the current trendy full-screen video background and went with a more editorial style home page but they made up for it with wonderful video embedded about and project pages.

The HTTPS Revolution Is Coming In July 2018 According To Google

In 2017 Google started de-ranking websites that take credit cards or user information and made websites without SSL almost completely unusable in regards to e-commerce or lead generation. In February of 2018 Google announced that they were going to release the Chrome 67 update that would make a website on the HTTP unsecured protocol virtually nonexistent, and all but destroy SEO for that domain. In this video, I try to demystify that Chrome update and look at some examples of unsecured websites.

Paper Planes: Another Interesting Concept Coming Out Of The Google Chrome Experiments Portfolio

https://mywebbro.com In this video, we take a look at an interesting website. paperplanes world is a Google Chrome Experiment where users are invited to create a paper plane and stamp it with their location and time and hurl it into the electronic world to float around until it is caught by another person. Then they stamp it and throw it and after several times being caught and thrown you can see many different locations and dates on a single plane. The execution of the concept is very well done and the design is pleasing and soothing. The website is easy to use and runs fast. I commend Yvo Schaap aka Active Theory for his work on this project.

Your drawings are stored and compared to the billion or so other drawings in real time and the program learns the nuances of human doodling. You can download the entire database of drawings if you are a developer or you can just have some fun contributing to Googles efforts to teach computers how to understand humans better. The Quick Draw Website won a 2017 Webby Award for Technical Achievement in the Gaming / Game Category.
